SHARON A. WILLIAMS is a jewelry designer in Los Angeles, Ca. Sharon designs and hand makes one-of-a kind pieces of jewelry for her national and international clientele, all of which are unique in appearance and texture. She creates her jewelry from what she envisions rather than following particular styles and trends. Her lifelong artistic talents have been evident in the many years she managed art galleries that evolved into a long lasting relationship with the American Indian culture. She divides her time between two passions: jewelry designing and as a private art dealer in paintings and American Indian art.
Travels to exotic and distant lands are inspiration for her striking jewelry designs - pieces that make an impact on the observer as well as the wearer. She makes a statement about the sheer beauty of gems and minerals, corals and shells, vintage crystals, silver and gold pieces amongst a myriad of numerous treasures that mirror the customs and cultures of their origin.
"Natural materials have their own design, a compelling design. I use my knowledge and exposure to the world to design jewelry that is as unique as the woman wearing my creations. The healing thread of wearing natural materials and minerals reminds us of the beauty of our planet and the imperative need for a peaceful existence," Williams commented.
